In my exploration of Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), I found a wealth of insight into both their creative process and the human element behind their innovative architectural designs. BIG’s website offers an in-depth look at their projects, highlighting the materials, dimensions, and locations of each creation. BIG’s approach to showcasing their projects online is both visually appealing and detailed, offering a thorough look into every aspect of the design, which helped me immensely while building my own hands-on model. I sought inspiration from their past works, imagining a building situated in a remote, snowy location, and the detailed construction data they provide helped us think about architecture in an entirely new way. This comprehensive presentation of their work highlighted the transparency and thoughtfulness that BIG applies to both design and construction.
